Committed to a new way of living
Aware of what climate change entails for the planet and following a trend that is increasingly prevalent, AQ Acentor want to do their bit to boost sustainability and get our clients involved by offsetting the CO2 emissions of their homes for the first two years after delivery.
What does this initiative consist of?
In Spain, a three-person household produces an average of two tons of CO2 per year, generated by the consumption of electricity and gas. To offset this footprint, AQ Acentor has signed a global agreement with the German company KlimaInvest, which operates according to the strict VCS (Verified Carbon Standard) and Gold Standards. To certify the offset, a master certificate is issued to AQ Acentor with additional certificates for each development. Each client will also receive a copy of the certificate. Once two years have elapsed, our clients can continue to offset their CO2 footprint as they see fit.
Time to build a more sustainable tomorrow
Greenhouse gases can be reduced where the implementation of climate protection is more feasible.
KlimaInvest currently participates in 40 projects worldwide. One of these projects, located in India, not only saves large amounts of CO2 each year, but invests in green energy, which ensures the living conditions of the region’s population.
