Murcia, DD de MM 2025: AQ Acentor consolidates its growth in Murcia. The residential developer has announced its third development in the regional capital, AQ Cora. Located in the northern part of the city, it will comprise 43 homes and represent an investment of more than €10 million.

This project is the third development that AQ Acentor already has under construction in the city. Its concept is aimed at meeting an unmet demand in Murcia for one and two-bedroom units. AQ Cora will stand out for its high quality and personalisation packages for each home, in a project designed from its inception for residential sale. Future residents will have terraces, storage rooms, garages and spacious living areas in an efficient building with a BREEAM seal of approval.

Designed by the prestigious Murcian architecture firm Llanes y Granados, AQ Cora will be distributed over six floors, with ground floor apartments featuring private gardens and penthouses with terraces of up to 90 m². The development will offer a range of services and communal areas, including a rooftop swimming pool and solarium, as well as a gym, co-working space and a clubhouse at street level.

The building is located in the expanding northern area of the city of Murcia, where urban development is constantly growing. Located on the avenues Juan Carlos I, Príncipe de Asturias and Juan de Borbón, it offers residents a strategic location with all the services they need for day-to-day living. Thanks to its proximity, it is connected to the amenities the city has to offer, such as the ‘ZigZag’ leisure centre, a direct exit to the motorway and the N-301 road, and a public transport stop.

With this announcement, the developer that made its debut in Murcia last year increases its commitment to the Region until at least 2027, reaching a committed investment of €55 million including the developments of AQ Eolias (75 multi-family homes, also in the North Zone) and AQ Eyren (58 single-family homes in Guadalupe).

Both developments are already in the construction phase. In line with AQ Acentor’s commitment to ensuring a positive impact on the communities where it operates, priority has been given to contracting local suppliers. In the case of AQ Eolias, the Chamizo Arquitectos studio and the construction company Etosa have been involved. In Guadalupe de Maciacosque, Chamizo Arquitectos and the construction company Dipersa were chosen.

Natalia Rubio, project manager, emphasised: ‘AQ Cora is the result of our work in Murcia since 2023, where we have been able to see a lack of supply for those looking for a first home or an investment for long-term replacement’.

Regarding the company’s commitment to Murcia, Alvaro Marcos head of commercialization and marketing, added: ‘We are here to stay. The region, its cities and its coastline are one of the main growth areas for Spanish residential property, so we are looking for and analysing all the opportunities that come our way to expand our regional presence’.
