AQ Acentor delivers two hotels for Hilton and IHG in Málaga

AQ Acentor has formalized the delivery of the two hotels in the North Tower of AQ Urban Sky to Borealis Hotel Group (“Borealis”), a well-known European hospitality group. Both hotels are already operational under the management of Borealis’ partner Panoram Hotel Management. Thus, Borealis has now opened the doors of the first Staybridge Suites, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts Suites portfolio, in Spain and the first Hampton by Hilton in Andalusia. 

With this milestone, AQ Acentor completes one of the most ambitious developments in its history, marking a before and after in the city’s urban skyline and contributing to Malaga’s hotel offer with these two-new-brand hotel under international flags 

The hotel offering is designed to meet the demand for business travel, long stays, and quality tourism. Staybridge Suites Málaga, IHG® is located from the second to the sixth floor of the Northern Tower and features 105 modern and spacious rooms with fully equipped kitchens, complimentary breakfast and high-speed Wi-Fi. Further, “the Den” offers a nice place to relax or work and there is a shop “The Pantry” where you can get snacks, beverages and essentials. Hampton by Hilton Málaga is located from the seventh to the thirteens floor and offers 209 modern rooms with complimentary breakfast and high-speed Wi-Fi, 24/7 snack-bar, laundry service, baggage storage and a laptop safety box. 

AQ Urban Sky: A Benchmark in Innovation in Málaga 

AQ Urban Sky, recognized this year as the most innovative development in Andalusia, presents the two tallest residential towers in the autonomous community, with 106.7 meters in the South Tower and 111.5 meters in the North Tower, which houses the hotels. This makes it one of the most emblematic projects in Málaga, especially in the residential sector with its 450 homes and the hotel sector. Currently, with 95% of the homes delivered and the recent delivery of the hotels, AQ Acentor completes the success of this development, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the growth and transformation of the city. 

In terms of sustainability, both buildings have the highest energy rating, built according to the criteria necessary to obtain the BREEAM “Very Good” certificate, in addition to meeting B/A ratings in emissions and consumption.
