AQ Acentor leads residential investment in District Zeta (Malaga): it acquires two new residential plots for 182 homes
AQ Acentor reinforces its footprint in Malaga. The company announces the acquisition of two new plots in one of the city’s main residential destinations: District Zeta. The developer currently develops three residential projects in the same sector (AQ Urban Zenit I, II & III). With this transaction, the company will increase its investment in the area by 65 million euros, making it the leading residential developer.
The new development, named AQ Zivit, will consist of two buildings of 91 homes each, with a varied product typology, with two, three and four bedrooms. It will stand out for the variety and spaciousness of its communal areas, which will include gardens, children’s areas, swimming pools, gym and fitness area, lounge & coworking club and games room.
Commercialization will launch in 2025 from the customer service point that AQ Acentor already has open to the public within District Zeta.
With this new deal, AQ Acentor will exceed 300 homes under development in District Zeta, once again showing its commitment to this iconic residential sector managed and promoted by Urbania since 2021.
District Zeta is defined by the incorporation of cutting-edge elements for urban development, such as the 5G data network, solar panels, urban gardens, urban mobility lanes, EV plug-in points, pet parks, etc. Due to its concept, design and execution, it is already a new generation urban reference not only in Andalusia but also in Spain as a whole.
The area is at an advanced stage of urbanisation (scheduled for completion in 2025) and will house more than 70,000sqm of green areas for outdoor sports and leisure, as well as some 125,000sqm of public land.
Julio Gómez, AQ Acentor’s regional director in Andalusia said: ‘AQ Zivit is a great announcement for us, a privilege that allows us to consolidate our position in a national reference project such as District Zeta’. In terms of investment, he added: ‘With this project we exceed the 210 million euros committed to new projects since 2023 in Andalusia. This autonomous community is and will be a strategic region for the growth of AQ Acentor, where we continue to work with a view to future investments.’
Investment volume
With this news, the company exceeds 510 million euros of total investment at national level from 2023 and raises its portfolio of projects to more than 3,100 units to be delivered over the next five years. Thus, the developer has increased its geographical presence in new places such as Seville and Murcia and strengthened its business in key markets such as Malaga and Valencia, in addition to the return to Madrid and the activity in Barcelona.
Malaga, a key market
AQ Acentor started its operation in Malaga in 2017. Since then, it has promoted the development of more than 1,720 homes and invested more than 570 million euros in 17 developments located in the Malaga capital and the municipalities of Rincón de la Victoria and Estepona.
